യുഎഇയില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ പെയ്ത കനത്ത മഴയില്‍ പലയിടങ്ങളിലും നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങള്‍. ശക്തമായ കാറ്റിലും മഴയിലും വാഹനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും വസ്തുക്കള്‍ക്കും നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങളുണ്ടായി. നഷ്ടം അധികൃതര്‍ തിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തി വരികയാണ്.
കനത്ത മഴയില്‍ നാശനഷ്ടങ്ങള്‍ നേരിട്ടവരില്‍ മലയാളികളുമുണ്ട്. പല മലയാളികളുടെയും കടകളുടെ നെയിം ബോര്‍ഡുകള്‍ കാറ്റില്‍ നശിച്ചു. കടകളിലെ പല സാധനങ്ങളും വെള്ളത്തില്‍ വീഴുകയും ചെയ്തു. അബുദാബിയിലെ അല്‍ ഹയാറില്‍ പരസ്യ ബോര്‍ഡ് കാറിന് മുകളിലേക്ക് വീണു. കാര്‍ യാത്രക്കാരായ കുടുംബം അത്ഭുതകരമായാണ് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. ചില കടകളുടെ മേല്‍ക്കൂരകള്‍ ശക്തമായ കാറ്റില്‍ പാറിപ്പോയി.

സഹായം അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ച് നൂറിലധികം കോളുകളാണ് ശനിയാഴ്ച ദുബൈ മുന്‍സിപ്പാലിറ്റിക്ക് ലഭിച്ചത്. ദുബൈയിലെ പരിസര പ്രദേശങ്ങളില്‍ കടപുഴകി വീണ മരങ്ങള്‍ നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന്‍ അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ചുള്ള കോളുകളായിരുന്നു ഇതില്‍ 69 എണ്ണം. പ്രധാന റോഡുകളില്‍ 16 സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ മരങ്ങള്‍ വീണു. വെള്ളക്കെട്ടുകള്‍ നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന്‍ അഭ്യര്‍ഥിച്ചായിരുന്നു 18 കോളുകള്‍. വിവിധ സ്ഥലങ്ങളില്‍ കടപുഴകിയ മരങ്ങള്‍ ഷാര്‍ജ മുന്‍സിപ്പാലിറ്റിയും ദുബൈ മുന്‍സിപ്പാലിറ്റിയും ചേര്‍ന്ന് നീക്കം ചെയ്യാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കാലാവസ്ഥയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട അടിയന്തര സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ എമര്‍ജന്‍സി നമ്പറായ 800900 വിളിക്കുക.
